Hantsweb Award Winners 2008
For the second year running we are proud to have won this very prestigious award in the Most Accessible Website category. We were identified as:
“[A] clear winner from an aesthetic as well as an accessibility perspective”.
The judges, who reviewed the School’s website, said the site was “bright and usable” and:
“[…] effectively communicates the school’s many activities while ensuring accessibility to a broad audience”.
When we attended the impressive awards presentation we knew we had reached the top three of the 101 nominated sites. I was feeling quite nervous; we had to wait patiently to see if we had won overall.
Due to the dedication of Ben Millard, the technical webmaster, in partnership with myself, we have maintained a very high standard of web design and content for many years. There is always the expectation that the website matches the very highest standards to which Calthorpe Park aspires and it is pleasing to have this high standard recognised, formally, at County level.
