Nathaniel’s Story: An Easter Play on Easter Saturday, April 20th, 7pm
Organised and written by one of our school parents! This takes place at Church on the Heath - free admission.
What would it have been like to know Jesus and witness first-hand his extraordinary life and death? Imagine being there when it happened! Church on the Heath members tell the story of the three days of the Easter Passion. Come along and become immersed in the events that shook the world!
ShuZu Shoe Recycling and National Shoe Fitting Week
ShuZu in North Camp are offering FREE Podiatrist assessments at our stores as part of National Shoe Fitting week that starts on the 12th of April. Their qualified fitters will be on hand for measuring, fitting and checking current footwear (they are fully trained by the Society of Shoe Fitters). It is increasingly important that we all wear the correct size footwear and this is particularly important for children, whose feet change shape as they develop.
They are also running a shoe recycling initiative to promote less wastage and to remove unnecessary waste from landfill. Donated shoes also benefit charities, as the funds they raise from the collections are given to charities to help them with their work.

Local (Farnham) football team, Bourne Blades, are recruiting - please see this link for details.
Hart District Council Countryside Services
Here is the link to our website page where you can find our 2019 Events Calendar. This year we have a variety of Events & Activities for all ages (including Adults).
Crookham Village Twinning Group
The group are looking to welcome new families to get involved with the annual weekend of activities that take place between 7-10 June this year. Crookham Village has been twinned with Lévignen in northern France since 1983, and the group takes part in a reciprocal family exchange weekend in May/June each year. Those passionate about France and all things French can opt to host a French family for the weekend or just join in the activities locally. Next year it will be the group’s turn to travel to France. For further details, please contact Rick Spink on 01252 816348
Please note that this twinning opportunity is an independent venture, organised by the Crookham Village Twinning Group, and is not linked to the programme of trips and visits offered to its students by Calthorpe Park School.
A message from the Elections Office at Hart District Council:
I work in the Elections team at Hart District Council and every year, in preparation for an election, we recruit up to 300 staff to work in polling stations and at the count venue.
We are always looking for new staff to help us support democracy in the Hart area and wondered if you would publicise this email to your Calthorpe Park School Association membership? We are hoping to appeal to parents who maybe don't work full time/permanently but would be interested in a temporary role.
We have a variety of roles that we need to fill, from supervising polling stations to being a 'ballot box runner' at the count venue. If you think you might be interested in working at our elections on May 2nd this year, or you know someone who might be interested, please click on the link below for more information. Alternatively you could ring our office on the number below to discuss further.
Without the hard work and commitment of our election staff we could not deliver local, county or parliamentary polls or referenda. In anticipation of a potentially busy year, we would welcome hearing from you!
